New Numenera Card Set

Monte Cook unveiled the Numenera Cypher Chest, a new collection betdog of cards for the Numenera role playing game: The Cypher Chest will be a boxed set in a 8-1/2″ x11″ rigid box sbfplay containing 250 non-random, full-color, double-sided cards, for $29.99. It will be out in July. The Cypher Deck allows GMs and players to randomly generate single-use cyphers on the fly. Twenty item cards are lavishly illustrated with different device types, while each of the 100 power cards offers multiple betdog ufa747 power options to match the device. The XP Deck provides a set of tangible tokens to represent experience points—a sort of game currency that often changes hands between players. The Creature Deck contains 100 commonly encountered creatures. Draw a card to quickly build an encounter: One side has basic stats (with a reference to the book for full stats and info), and the sbfplay reverse has an image to share with the ufa747 players. Some games take a while to load on mobile, but once they start, the gameplay is smooth and exciting. I hope future updates improve mobile performance, but I still enjoy playing several hours a day.
